Comments: I've been reading these trip reports for a while and not posting. Now that my adventures are taking me to less frequented peaks, the information they provide is incredibly valuable and it's time for me to start chipping in.

Tunnel Brook trail was in great shape, but watch your footing as the rocks were quite slippery from thunderstorms the day before. I followed it in approx. 2 miles, to ~2300 feet and started the bushwhack. I slabbed up the SE ridge, hitting the spine at about 3,100 ft, right at the first blowdown patch. A couple moderately steep/thick sections towards the bottom, but generally easy going. Once on the ridge there were plenty of game trails (herd paths?) to follow through the thick stuff that led right to the summit. Unfortunately, there were no views as it was socked in with fog, but there were plenty of raspberries around for a fresh summit snack. I intended to head down the same way, but got sucked west and ended up in the drainage due south of the peak. I had time, so explored a bit, there were lots of open hardwood sections, small waterfalls and pools on the brook and ended up seeing 3 deer and an owl in this area. All-in-all a great day in the woods on my first "real" bushwhack.
