Designated hiking trail was mostly dry with a little bit of damp grass up high (not too high on the sunset portion; gravel below there). Made the mistake of going straight up North Peak (above the active mountain bike trail crossings), thinking it was mowed; walked into a wall of tall grass on the steeps. Needless to say, trail mowing still has a way to go.
Decent partly sunny morning weather before the forecast storms move in. |
