Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All rock hops. Imp trail starts dry but transitions to a walk in the stream further up, with lots of running and standing water; mainly the second half of the Imp Trail up to the N Carter junction. Ridge was just muddy in spots and could benefit from a few bog bridges.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: 3 step overs on North Carter
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Cooper had a great time; easy trails for dogs from this direction; saw no other dogs. I figured there would be water on these trails after the recent rains, and they didn't disappoint. See water comments; lots of water for your furry friends so less for me the haul (Coop prefers mountain fresh water over what I haul in Nalgene bottles anyway). I suspect more water for pups after the rains tomorrow, as well.
Bugs
Bugs: none
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: N/A

Comments
Comments: Quick hike for the TW72 list. Several other solo hikers out; most going to the other Carters. And a tri of NOBO through hikers on the summit. Dry and wet trail conditions but all easy to get through. Views limited in the AM due to the low cloud cover.
