| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Empty lot at Old Bridle Path a little before 7:30. Both lots were full a few hours later with no room for overflow (heavily signed). Quite a few out of state SUVs pulling in and then ripping out when finding the lots were full. Ironically, the newish Doublehead lot further down Route 113 was empty.
Room for a couple of vehicles to park at the Crawford Ridgepole Trail trailhead on Sandwich Notch Road. A little bit of washboard, but otherwise not an issue to get to via the Sandwich side. Road is in relatively decent shape all the way through with typical occasional potholes and rocks. Wouldn't want to do it with a Mini Cooper, but no issue with reasonable clearance and caution. |

| Comments: |
Trails were mostly dry this morning. A few minor mud patches on Crawford Ridgepole and a few slippery, mossy rocks.
Morning started off cool in Sandwich Notch (was still in the 70s at lunchtime, whereas Plymouth was touching on 90), but warm up on the ridge. Did not encounter any hikers until we hit Percival. Some folks hiking that side, but not a conga line. Noted a few trees turning yellow and some hobblebush going red. |
