Comments
Comments: This was just a fun hike along one of my fav trails, Crawford Path. I was debating whether to take Ammo or Jewell down but decided to try the Cog Railway path which is no better or worse than Jewell and maybe a little more direct. Ammo was most likely under water after the heavy rains. The Cog path did have some signs of recent hiker use but other than a videographer I didn't see anyone else on it. Going by memory it seemed slower than Jewell and harder on the toes too. Coming down off Washington was a bit tricky with the wind gusts which had to have been in the 50 mph range on top.
