Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Lot was full and overflowing out on the road at 9:30 am, even more so at noon. I counted 8 portable toilets in the lot. There’s a kiosk with a trail map you’re encouraged to take a picture of with your phone and an iron ranger suggesting a $5 donation.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None today
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Aside from previously noted erosion (horrendous in places), no issues
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Lots and lots of dogs today, seemed like everyone had one but me. Going down Boulder Loop trail would have me concerned with a bigger dog but the smaller ones were like Ibex here. An occasional puddle but not much in the way of available water.

Comments
Comments: A popular destination today with the perfect weather, low humidity and good breezes. Must have been close to 100 people on top and half as many dogs. People and dogs all well behaved. My preference is for less travelled places so had a snack, got my pics in and booked it out of there.
