Parking/Access Road Notes: There is opening in stone wall leads to apple orchard and hay fields. Mountain Road was very narrow hardly room to park. I didn't see any signage regarding parking or trespassing so I took a chance and parked in mowed level area

Comments
Comments: Trip reports and Caltopo indicated trail to Larcom begins in apple orchard and hay fields. Trail was not apparent from the road. There is plenty of no trespassing signs along road, but there is no signage indicating no trespassing or Land Trusts etc in apple orchard field. I knew it had to begin near this opening in the stonewall. There is no signage indicating no trespassing or Land Trusts etc. so I pulled in and parked. A short walk revealed a mowed trail traversing the hay fields in general direction of low point between Larcom and Little Larcom. Once in forest trail to col is nice open forest road with excellent footing. I spotted spur trail on way up, but elected to hit main peak first. The road becomes single lane trail after col. Trail is in good condition and shows signs of being maintained. Trail is lightly traveled and easy to follow with occasional blazes. I noticed two trees on upper section of the trail with Lakes Region Conservation Trust signs. Larcom summit has nice open ledges offer views to Sandwich Range and beyond and openings reveal partial views areas of Ossipee Range. Little Larcom has ledges but not very interesting views. Folks in a hurry might wish to skip Little Larcom.
