Comments
Comments: Been a while since I have done the standard Carrigan out and back. Hard to beat the well graded trail and numerous switchbacks. There is new cover (to me) for the spring at the old wardens cabin (I still would not drink without treatment). Not a lot of water in it. Someone hauled up a galvanized trash can for what I do not know but dumb idea. There is pot with string for trying to pull water from the well. I do not remember the official designation of campsite on the left just before the final climb to the tower. The handrails fixed on the tower platform and there is hack fix to keep the grate before the platform from dropping when stepped on.

Saw one person coming down who had finished her 48 before going back to school. Unfortunately the tower was socked in when she was up there. It did clear out later.
