Comments
Comments: Mix of conditions. Bottom half of Polecat Trail had recently been groomed. Top half was closed to skiers. It was hard packed and I hiked through no problem. Had to break out Wildcat Ridge Trail. I'm not sure if it was due to drifting or our last storm. Probably both. It wasn't too deep though. Snow was blown down to the packed trail in places and drifted to a foot in others. Beautiful sunny day with great views of the Presies.
