Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Small lot for 4-5 cars if parked diagonally as sign says. Four cars on arrival at 10am, three remaining in lot upon return, but two other vehicles overflowed to roadside nearby.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: First crossing on Percy Peaks Trail bridged, some boards missing from bridge. All others are step overs, half of them dry, others low flowing.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Bridge on Percy Peaks Trail has some boards missing, still fine to walk over though. A small cluster of blowdowns about 0.5 mi from Nash Stream Road on Percy Loop Trail, should be small work with a good saw, which I need to start carrying. Otherwise trails in good shape. Well blazed throughout, blazes and small cairns up rock slabs on Percy. South unglazed but easy to follow.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw one pup from a distance halfway up North Percy dome, rocky dome may be a problem for some paws, but grade is ok on marked trail.
Bugs
Bugs: Minimal, a couple skeeter and no see-ums along the way, I didn't use spray and was fine, my friend used spray and they still buzzed her.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: n/a

Comments
Comments: A nice loop to these two peaks. Trail to South was ledgy and mossy, trail to North was dirt/rock then rock slab which was very grippy, thankfully.

Lovely views from both, I was unable to locate canister on South peak. Pin on North, with a sign.

Blueberries abound on both peaks. Some bunchberries, blue bead lily and Indian pipe scattered along trails.

Saw about a dozen people out, mostly on North. Looked like a few people hanging out by Percy Loop tentsite, we didn't walk over there though.

Fun little loop, glad to finally have visited the peaks.
