Comments
Comments: Our group of five left the York Pond Trailhead traveled on York Pond trail to Kilkenny Ridge Trail out to South Weeks and back. Did not see another soul all day. Several water crossings on York Pond Trail. Some marshy/wet areas on the lower end of York Pond Trail. Lot of underbrush on Kilkenny though trail though easy to follow. Very few trail markers. The markers that you do notice are old and faded. The north approach to South Weeks had a lot of blowdowns. On Kilkenny Ridge Trail there was a minimal water source at a small stream in the ravine on the south side of North Weeks about a third of the way down to the saddle between North and Middle Weeks. No real views from summits though you can get some views looking to the east from the north approach to South Weeks.
