| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
A nice parking lot with a slightly agressive water diversion ditch at the entrance. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |

| Recommended Equipment: |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
None significant. Last water is just above the spur to bald Knob beyond Bald knob. There are a few wet areas above for a bit but the summit ridge is dry as a bone |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One leaning striped maple not far from the parking lot. Easy to walk around but expect it will fall the rest of the way. Sad to say the trailbed is "toast" in many sections midway up the mountain. Lots of eroded out ditches, that would need major relos or serious rock work. It is nice to see the big relo from 20 years ago is healing up nicely, carpeted with green moss and ferns. |

| Comments: |
Lot of folks on the ridge including Nobo and Sobo AT hikers and met one flip flopper. There was a nice breeze on the summit, but hydration and electrolyte maintenance was the challenge for the day and post hike. |
