Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw on friendly well behaved leashed doggo. Plenty of water down low and nice easy grade for a dog.
Bugs
Bugs: Used plenty of bug spray to keep the black flies, deer flies and mosquitos away. Shockingly no ticks.

Comments
Comments: A nice walk in the woods that included a beautiful ledgy view and a jump in the water at the end. Trail is a gentle grade through the woods. A bit overgrown in multiple areas along the way where ferns and low bushes brush against you. On the ascent and at the summit we only say on other set of hikers. Descending we ran into 4 more hikers and one lady on day 8 of hike the Cohos Trail from Canada to the Davis Path. Having paid the entrance fee ($7/per vehicle for beach access) a few of us cooled off in the water. A great way to end a humid beautiful hike.
