Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Room for two vehicles at the trailhead in Passaconaway Campground, and room for probably another two roadside next to the parking area. I was the third vehicle there, so I parked roadside without any issue.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail
Recommended Equipment

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The ford of the Swift River right at the beginning was easy - the water never made it up to my knees, and I'm 5'5". The second channel of the Swift River has a beaver dam that you can walk across on and keep your feet dry. Nothing else on the rest of the trail.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blowdowns, one of which, near the beginning, was a bit of a pain to get over or under. Drainage wasn't an issue today - large sections of the trail have bog bridges and those are in good condition, and the rest of the trail was dry. I can imagine, however, that if not for the bog bridges, in wet seasons this trail would be pretty well impassable. Signs were all in place.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: As long as they're big enough to walk straight through the river at the beginning (or if you're willing to carry them), they should be fine. They'll certainly get a lesson in the bogginess of the area if they ever step off the bog bridges.
Bugs
Bugs: Plenty of bugs were present, but I applied 25% DEET at the trailhead, and they didn't bother me.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing.

Comments
Comments: Once you've waded through the Swift River, this is a short, flat, and easy walk. Considering the low water levels, I figured now would be a good time to do this, and I was right - wading through the river was easy. The rest of the trail is easy to follow. The section on bog bridges through the swamp is a hot one since there's not much shade there. The pond is beautiful, there are several paths to get down to it, and views of the surrounding mountains (Green's Cliff in particular) were very good.

I saw just two other groups on this hike. I suspect this trail would be a lot more popular if not for the ford of the Swift River at the beginning.
