Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Please leash your pets. Came across three dogs off leash. There are some areas with steep drop offs down to the water.
Bugs
Bugs: Flies were abundant, especially at the summit of Hight. They were not too bothersome until you stop and they start to land and bite.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Surprisingly, no lost items. Only a single piece of trash, a ziploc, was found the entire trail.

Comments
Comments: Perfect weather for a hike today, humidity was not too bad, and it was comfortable up until a few miles in where the stagnant air started. Peak was nice with a light breeze, but no windbreaker needed, and great visibility for summertime. 360 views as usual. Please note that you cannot camp on Hight, I had overheard someone talking about "cowboy camping" at the summit.

Overall 19 mile is an easy going trail with slow elevation gain. Great trail to run. The hike doesn't really start picking up until Carter Dome Trail towards the last .5 of that trail and then the final ascent up the Carter Moriah Trail to Hight.

Some stagnant water here and there, flies hanging around those areas. Mud depth was minimal and easily trekked through.
