| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
In general the Mt. Tecumseh trail is in good shape. However the signage at the summit is confusing for people who take the Sosman trail (left at the fork, blue blazes) to the summit and then want to take the Mt. Tecumseh trail (yellow blazes) back to the ski area parking lot. There is no sign at the summit where the Mt. Tecumseh trail begins to return the the ski area parking lot. The existing new sign has a arrow pointing to the Mt. Tecumseh trail section that heads down to Tripoli Rd. It also lists with the same arrow the Mt. Tecumseh trail heading to the ski area parking lot which is incorrect. |

A great climb. Having done some stone work on trails I marveled at the 880 recognizable stone steps to reach the summit. The stone steps are spread out in multiple sections of the 2.5 mile distance to the summit. |
