 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of room at Sawyer Pond TH and Hancock TH. Sawyer River Road is also in great shape, no high clearance vehicle needed. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Several crossings of the Sawyer River, all rock hops. I can see how a minor to moderate storm could make this more challenging though. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The first 3 miles of Hancock Notch Trail (from 112) were in great shape, the next 2 miles were a bit slick and after the rocks it was muddy. Nothing horrible though, overall we were super pleased with the trail. |

**SEE TRAIL REPORT FOR INFO AND PICTURES**
A really good trail for someone who likes a more adventurous trail but for some reason or another is not looking to gain much elevation. 9 miles and only around 700 feet of ascent. Really scenic and felt very secluded. Long car spot though. |
