Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Several crossings of the Sawyer River, all rock hops. I can see how a minor to moderate storm could make this more challenging though.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The first 3 miles of Hancock Notch Trail (from 112) were in great shape, the next 2 miles were a bit slick and after the rocks it was muddy. Nothing horrible though, overall we were super pleased with the trail.

A really good trail for someone who likes a more adventurous trail but for some reason or another is not looking to gain much elevation. 9 miles and only around 700 feet of ascent. Really scenic and felt very secluded. Long car spot though.
