Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: We opted to bypass the first two major crossings by taking the herd path. The third major crossing is wide, but the water levels are relatively low, so we had no issues crossing and keeping feet dry.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Aside from some blowdowns on the herd path which avoids the first two water crossings, the actual trails are all in great shape.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a couple of pups out having a great time yesterday.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a red headband on the North Twin Trail - took it down and left it at the kiosk.

Comments
Comments: Excellent weather for a July hike! We opted to take the herd path to avoid the first two water crossings (not because there were issues with water levels, but just because). The third crossing was unavoidable, but the water levels are low enough right now that you can easily find a number of places to cross without getting your feet wet.

North Twin Spur over to South Twin has mud in the usual spots, but I've definitely seen it much deeper than it currently is. There are rocks placed on the trail in the muddy areas of North Twin Spur so you can hop between them.

The views on South Twin are gorgeous, and the views from the outlook on North Twin are also not to be missed!

There were probably 20-30 cars between the parking lot and the side of the road at the start, but the trail never felt crowded and the summits had very few people on them as well!
