Initial plan was to turn around at top of Tuckerman's ravine, and not to summit. At top of ravine, the choice was 2 - 3 hours decent or 2 hours to summit, and pray that shuttle bus was available to save our knees from the downhill. Our prayers were answered. shuttle bus was 50 dollars down, and one can't make reservations. It took 2 in shape men age 66/67 5 hours to summit (we took our time). |
