| Water Crossing Notes: |
Not much to speak of. There's a bit of mud here and there. Some mild thinking will get you past. Be wary of making the trail wider than it needs to be. Some of the mud is much shallower than you'd imagine, and really, walking across won't kill you. Give it a shot!
Nearer the summit on the Tripoli Road side, there are a couple drainages that could withstand harvesting some water for your hydration bladder if you need. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Wow, the trail maintainers are totally on point here. Kudos to all of them for such a nice footpath! |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw a few very happy pups, thrilled to be outside in their natural domain. None poorly behaved; a couple were utterly incapable of holding their licker. :D There are much worse things in life than an overly affectionate dog. Thanks to you all for sharing your four legged friends. It means a lot. |

| Bugs: |
Not so much today. I have no problems with this. |

This was my second July for the grid. Oops. Then again, I had such an epic time that I really don't care. Yep, I could be two peaks closer to my goal, but what is the goal? To hike a list, or to have a good time in the mountains? I go with the latter.
Views were totally epic. I'll have today a thousand times over, please!
Met several groups that were in the midst of their 48 four thousand footer journeys. Keep it up, folks! You'll get there!
Pictures and a more detailed report are on my blog, as always. Share and enjoy!
