The York Pond Trail to Willard Notch and Kilkenny Ridge Trail to Bunnell Notch are definitely less travelled and a very nice change of pace. Thigh high ferns in many places.
Cabot Spring in running at a trickle. No need to go down this crumby segment of trail unless you are redlining or really need water.
I bushwhacked over to the talus field on the south side of Cabot for the first time. The views from the talus field are quite good, but I found the bushwhack to be difficult due to very dense and unforgiving forest. |
