Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Wild River is really low, so fording is no problem. The other little streams there are no problem, but you might as well leave crocs on until you get to the Shelburne/Highwater jct.

Comments
Comments: Needed to finish up this southern section of Shelburne Trail up until the Kenduskeag Trail jct. Went a little further to catch the sunset from the first ledges on the Kenduskeag Trail - such great views there! Wild River crossing was low easy - felt nice on this hot weekend! The bank is really steep on the Wild River Rd side where the trail actually comes out, so it's worth going up or down the bank to find a better place. Then takes a bit of care to follow the trail right at the beginning until the Highwater jct, but it's not too bad - definitely easier to follow on way out (parking lot > up) than reverse.
