Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Suspension bridge over Saco River, one of two logs over smaller stream is sagging upon stepping on it and will probably break this summer and the brook crossing was an easy rock hop.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Couple of blow downs that are easy to step over or around. They seem to have been there for a long time.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: None today. This is a good trail for dogs. No concerns with bringing your pups.
Bugs
Bugs: They are here but we lost them further up. Thankfully the breeze at the summit kept them away.

Comments
Comments: Gentle hike to start, then goes uphill at a good clip. Plenty of rock steps. Then open ledges and great views. View from the top is magnificent and wonderful. Well worth the hike! Trail is basically dry. Met a group of retired folks and then a group of girls from a camp. Lovely folks.
