Some tricky rock hops on Whitin Brook. I slipped off a rock and was done for. Or at least, I got very wet. Probably would have been better to just ford. It was only ankle deep anyway. |

Just a couple small hemlocks across Whitin Brook near the junction with Cabin. |

Mosquitoes were thronging. Maybe it was their annual convention. When I stopped moving, they filled my nostrils and clustered on my eyelashes so it was hard to see. |
