Comments: A FINE day was had in Henry's Woods. 11/10 of a day. A hard earned but incredible day. We parked at a random pull off a little over a mile south of Hale Brook Trail and took a bearing to the ridge north of South Sugarloaf. We found some abandoned skid and sno mo trails but they where not really going the direction we needed. Decent wood. We found a great spot to ascend the pesky cliff bands. Great visit to South Sugarloaf. From here we hit every bump along the way, including some lovely ledges. We again found pretty decent going. Popped out on Fire Warden's trail at about the last 90 degree turn. Lunch on the summit. Headed down Hale Brook and side contoured above the switchbacks due east, to East Peak. We initially found good wood, but it does get a lot tighter after a short distance. Nothing too bad, we where spoiled up until this point with amazing lines thanks to nordic_gal. Another great summit, that being East Hale. We again cross contoured out, this time a little bit lower paralelling our entrance track. We found similar results on the way in, tight closer to the peak but more open towards HBT. Nothing of note out back to the car. Wobbly pops while swimming in Zealand River. What a day. Spectacular.
