Lots of trail creep and erosion. Stone step portions are in much better shape. Ledges need blazing (looks like a lot were scraped off); noted a few people trampling around off trail when they missed a turn. |

A few mosquitoes down low, otherwise minimal. |

Loop was mostly dry late this afternoon. Very little mud encountered. Some subalpine flowers in bloom.
Warm afternoon with temperatures in the upper 70s, perhaps touching 80. |
