Comments
Comments: Really great re-route to the summit. nice switch backs, with log steps in a few places. Footing was good with a soft foot bed. The hike over to the Ledges was up and down, but good footing. Low clouds prevented any good views from the ledges, but I'm sure they're great when its clear. The side trail to the old mine had some step-overs and a duck-under. The trip down to the mine in my opinion is not worth the effort. Not much to see except a big hole in the ground. So chalk that one up as a "one and done". Four trail maintainers doing some trail work today. Keep up the good work. No other hikers when I finished at 11:00.
