| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
There were quite a few cars at the side of Ravine Road up by the fork and the sign saying not to park beyond there, but still at 8:30am we parked within perhaps 50' of the sign. There were more cars parked at 2:30pm, but still nothing to worry about, as a weekend day would be. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
All are bridged, except for one tiny runoff crossing the trail. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trail is in good shape. There are a couple of very minor blowdown step-overs. One such small tree was easily swung over to the side of the trail. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw a few, well behaved. On the descent, one dog was hustled off the trail and held by its owner as we passed, suggesting perhaps a behavior problem. |
|
| Bugs: |
There were indeed numerous black flies, even up top when the light breeze calmed. In general, staying in motion avoided them. |

| Comments: |
A very nice OTHH outing, with ultimately nine of us. The weather was great for the hike. There were numerous other hikers on the trail. |
