Parking/Access Road Notes: Ferncroft maybe 1/2 full at 0845; basically 100% at 1515.

Water Crossing Notes: Nothing of note.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Surprised by the amount of maintenance being done in the Sandwich Wilderness, but it made things easy.

Dog-Related Notes: Just know that there isn't much water (except on Kelley Trail) so bring some extra.

Comments: Nice redline day in the area. Some o0f the steep climbs/pitches/descents would be tricky in wet conditions. Trails in wonderful shape. Kelley Trail is somewhat leaf-covered, hiding some ankle-turners, but is pretty good. Really rough footing through the north end though. And FYI, the porta potty at the parking lot has no TP, bring your own...
