Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: One of the bridges on the Lonesome Lake trail is down, but the stream it crosses is tiny and not an issue to walk through. All other small stream crossings are very manageable without getting wet.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blowdowns on Fishin' Jimmy, but nothing too difficult to cross.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I can imagine that some dogs might struggle on the steeper sections.
Bugs
Bugs: Quite a few bugs around Lonesome Lake on the way back down, but pretty minor otherwise. Didn't end up using my head net.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Saw a light blue sweatshirt on the Fishin' Jimmy trail past Lonesome Lake

Comments
Comments: Trails were in great shape overall. There were a few wet and muddy spots along the way, but to my knowledge there are spots on the Fishin' Jimmy trail that are always wet. Some slick slabs to navigate that I found more concerning when descending than ascending. Most mud was avoidable with rock hopping or walking across logs, though most spots were pretty shallow anyway. One of the ladders on Fishin' Jimmy has a step broken that has exposed very large nails that could be nasty if you slip and fall onto them.
