I wanted to do Glen Boulder to Isolation then back Rocky Branch but we got stiffed by Valley Taxi; so it was Rocky Branch in and out.
Trip up to saddle is nice with foliage just coming in, but the last mile of the walk down to Rocky Branch is a river, with a lot of rock hopping in the trail. RB River crossings were fine, bushwacked the last as there was a trail easy to follow. Beautiful view from Isolation of back of Mt Washington. Four hours in & 3.5 out. Me and the dogs were beat but happy. |
