From the gate it was a fun bike ride to the trailhead, beautiful views into the gorge. This is one of those mountain trails that get overlooked because it's so far north, almost into Maine. It has to be one of the best climbs ever...gorgeous views from the ledges and cliffs almost the entire hike. This should be on the 52 w/a View list, plus there are miles and miles of riding on well-maintained roads. Thank you, Dartmouth College. |
