Another nice serene hike. I did not see anybody the whole trip. The view from The Scaur was very clear. Good view of Mt Tecumseh and West Tecumseh, Sandwich Dome, Jennings Peak, Noons Peak, Middle and South Tripyramids, and the Waterville ski area. I was a little disappointed when I arrived at Waterville Flume. The water level was lower than in previous years. The view though is still spectacular. Halfway down to the Flume there is a awesome view of the Oseolas showing K1 on East Osceola with Mt Kancamagus to the right(Mad River Pass). Another hike that has a lot of bang for your buck. |
