Comments
Comments: Day 223, Peak 210. 3rd hike and 4th peak of the day after the two Russell Mountain peaks and Hix Mountain. Had the pleasure of driving my friend to the bust station to begin his trek over to the west coast to finish the PCT in between :)

From the jct of Russell Pond Rd and the gated road, I walked behind the gate, and quickly went into the woods picking up the N/NE ridge of the peak which I followed to the summit. Open woods and moderate grades though not quite as gentle as I might’ve guessed given the contours. Easy to the find the register. On my way down, I followed the same route except I tried to walk out the short spur road shown on Gaia just before the jct of the two roads previously mentioned. This road isn’t much of a road anymore. Totally overgrown with ferns and even some trees. Just stick to a straight bearing back to the car or the gated road.

1mi, 250ft of gain, 40min including signing in at the summit. Got out just before dusk ;) 142 more days and 155 more peaks to go…
