Comments
Comments: Beautiful sunny and dry day to strike out and hike the slides. Hudson the pup along with his owner hiked their first 4k along with us and we made sure it was a memorable one. Livermore Rd was empty of other hikers as well as the north slide which thankfully was dry the whole way. Boy that slide was something else, we took our time making our way up which pleased the black flies. We didn't meet anyone else till we made the North Tripyramid summit where a ham radio operator had set up shop. Met three other groups of hikers as we made our way across the ridge. Had the south slide to ourselves on the way down. Met one more group of hikers who passed by just before getting back to Livermore Rd. Great day, seemed like we had the White Mountains all to ourselves. Clear day made for awesome views from the slides.
