| Comments: |
Trails were generally dry with just a little bit of wetness here and there.
Ski trail grass/weeds are getting tall. In addition, there is major construction in the base area where the ski trails adjacent to the hiking trail funnel into it. If using the ski trails, the best way to go right now is probably the gravel access road, as it avoids the major excavation. Lots of wildflowers in bloom on the ski slopes, but strawberries still have some more time to go. Still two patches of snow remaining as well.
Decent partly sunny day. Nice way to avoid the sound of motorcycles at the start of bike week.
Thought the $5 gas might knock down the crowds, but no evidence of that today. |
