All crossings had rocks available above the water line, feet stayed dry. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Large forked trunk blowdown right inline and on trail after Flume Slide Junction and before last water crossing. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw 3 or 4. There really isn’t reliable water on FRT. LST had running water on and parallel to the trail until about 1/2 mile before the tent site, water also available at the tent site. |
| Bugs: |
I wish they’d go away! Black flies and mosquitoes. |
| Lost and Found: |
There is a purple technical fabric tank top hanging on a branch on FRT close to LST junction. |
| Comments: |
Wet, dry, running water, wet rocks. The usual spring LST combo. Wet rocks at the top of LST and on FRT were starting to dry out after noon due to breeziness up there today. |
