This was a great hike. Squam lakes conservation society does a wonderful job with this trail. Easy to follow the yellow blazes and markers. Steep hike going up to the ledges. Magnificent views from ledges…. Nobody around was such a wonderful hike for solitude. I continued on to the Crawford ridgepole trail, took a right and ventured 80 or 100 yds to what I believe was the summit. Very nice kiosk at the trailhead to with some history. Top notch hike, thank you SLCS. |
