| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw one today, seemed like he was having a good time, little barky though. |
|
| Bugs: |
Worst.I.Have.Ever.Seen. Black flies, mosquitoes. Black Pond area was miserable. At several different times I looked down and had 3-5 mosquitoes on both arms. One even bit my palm...what kind of serial killer ish is that? |
|
| Lost and Found: |
Left a pair of REI poles at the bottom of the slide. Told a few people we passed on the way up that we left them there and would pick them up on the way out. They were gone when we got down. Hopefully someone misunderstood and brought them to the ranger station? |

| Comments: |
Fun day guiding a mother and son for Redline. Weather was perfect. Originally planned for a few weeks ago but the crossings were less than ideal with the runoff. No issue today. Slide is now dry for the most part. I'll have nightmares about the bugs around black pond for a while though :) |
