Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: nothing to note
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Some minor blowdowns. For such a popular trail the blazes could use repainting, especially going up some of the longer ledge sections. The trail was a little hard to follow in spots.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Several very friendly dogs along the way.
Bugs
Bugs: None to really speak of. Very nice actually.

Comments
Comments: Was an awesome day to do this moderately challenging route. Wasn't too difficult under close to perfect conditions but can see where it gets a reputation. Once to the first outlook the open views from the ledges are spectacular, changing every few hundred feet as you complete the loop. It was a little challenging, fun and rewarding hike. Took me about 4 1/2 hours to do, but I take a lot of pictures and breaks.
