Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking off Kanc in lot for Albany covered bridge - cross bridge turn right and walk down road a hundred yards or so to the trailhead. For those who want to park a bit closer drive across the covered bridges and there is a trailhead on the other side. Fee tubes open at both parking areas.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None of any significance
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One stepover about 1/3 mile in on the loop in the counter clockwise direction
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Easy canine hike - saw several out today.
Bugs
Bugs: A few out down low but winds higher up kept them at bay today. Not sure what type they were but there were literally thousands on caterpillars out starting in the parking lot and all the way along the trail.

Comments
Comments: An easy little loop took it clockwise to get the steepest sections on the ascent though nothing really that steep. Views from the upper ledge take in Chocorua and the sisters, Passaconway, the sleepers and the tripyramids. Lots of interesting (and large!) boulders on the lower parts of the loop. Most of the evidence of the 2016 is now gone.
