Great Summer day for Columbus Day Weekend. Lots of folks on the trails. The sun angle is getting lower making the lower half of the north slide very cool and somewhat damp which in places could make things slippery. I wish I had brought leather gloves.
There is some evidence of Irene damage along the livermore road but not an issue at all for hikers.
I have always done the Tripyramids from the Kanc, definitely a far more interesting route via the slides. |
