Water Crossing Notes: All rock hops
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Numerous blow downs on Bondcliff Trail after entering the Pemi Wilderness, both step overs and straddle overs, but all passable.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Coop had fun; met several other well behaved pups out enjoying a big hike!!! Water was plentiful up the last water crossing about 1.5 miles before Bondcliff summit. There were also several spots with running water and puddles further along on the trail, which may be from recent rains, but I would not count on these as temps go up. There is one steep 8ft spot just before Bondcliff summit that may be challenging for some dogs (need a boost); but there is a by-pass that has a smaller step that may also be an option.
Bugs
Bugs: Thought the bugs would have been much worse!!! Too cold in the AM, too windy on summits and ridge, and not many on descent unless one stopped to, say, filter water... even then there were not that many. No net needed.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: N/A

Comments
Comments: Fabulous day for a hike on these peaks. Lots of others out enjoying the excellent views, and sunny weather; many runners covering entire Pemi Loops. Most of the trail was dry, but there were several locations on Bondcliff trail with muddy patches; bypasses around most of these, or well placed rocks / logs / bridges, kept feet free of mud. Some patches of running water. Much to Coopers delight, there were 3 small patches of snow; 2 on BC spur and one just past Bond, for rolling and cooling off, and puppy snow cones. But these are not likely to last much longer.
