| Comments: |
Stony Brook was hard packed to C-M Jct. Some bare booted others used micro-spikes. From there to the summit it was styrofoam with semi-broken trail. We wore snowshoes from the col to the summit and all the way back. Some blow downs of which a few we cleared. Heavy ice laden leaners along the ridge, but fairly easy to get through. Our AMC group lead by Denise Penn and Ed Hawkins left a nice snowshoe track, soon to be filled with the falling snow encountered most of the day and on the way back. |
