 | Bugs: |
Bugs were curious at the parking lot on arrival at 9:30am, but not biting. The muddy spots along the trail on the way up had some activity, but nothing bad. On return from summit, those muddy spots were already drying up and bugs were less. The area around Beaver Brook Shelter was still buzzing and parking lot had a few more mosquitoes and black flies than in the morning. |

 | Lost and Found: |
A pair of pink Reebok bikini briefs within a tenth of a mile from the Alpine Zone. I thought about packing them out, but just couldn’t do it. |

Amazing trail with beautiful waterfalls. Steep as advertised from .2 to 1.5. A huge thank you to the trail maintenance crews who have built the amazing bridges, anchored the bevy of wooden blocks and secured the many rock slabs that make this trail possible. Wow! |
