Trail Maintenance Notes: Just a few minor blowdowns
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Can be managed by an experienced hiking dog. Trail is rough and steep toward the end. Be aware that there is very little water on this trail. Do bring some extra for the pup. Fire tower steps can be managed by most dogs, I'd say. Brady enjoyed this hike and met two friendly dogs along the way. 4 paws.
Bugs
Bugs: Not too bad with exception of the last mile on the way down as the day warmed up. Then the blackflies were out in force.
Lost and Found

Comments
Comments: This trail is a steady uphill that becomes rougher and steeper as you go. Wonderful views at the summit certainly make the effort worthwhile. The fire tower and steps leading up are in great shape. No snow or ice at this point.
