Black flies plentiful, but not really biting until approx .5 mi back to the parking lot -haha, we definitely picked up the pace! |

Beautiful clear day in the 60's, trails dry and in good shape, trillium galore, views fantastic - especially on Owl's Head (really the star of this hike - not to be missed) |
