| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
No issues at Lincoln Woods today. I always worry about car break-ins there though. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All were rock hoppable, even by my pupper! |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Not sure what the wilderness guidelines are for blowdowns but there are a bunch of straddle overs, 1 or 2 walk arounds, and one branchy one - all within the 4-6-ish mile range. Tons of step-overs along the tracks after the wilderness sign but I’m guessing those might be within guidelines? |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Took mine, she was the only one I saw all day. FYI there is reliable water available for the pups until the last crossing 1+ miles before the Bondcliff summit. No water the last mile or along the ridge. |
| Bugs: |
Black flies out in force at the lower elevations, biting, and flying into nostrils and eyes. Headnet went on for the last 5 miles. |
| Lost and Found: |
There was a black fleece technical jacket on a rock about 6 miles in, in the morning. I intended to pack it out if it was still there on my way out, but it was gone. Hopefully gets returned to owner. I did pack out a large black plastic trash bag tied to a tree at the next to last water crossing on the ascent. Leave no trace! |

| Comments: |
No snow or ice until between Bond and West Bond. It was only sporadic short lengths of decaying monorail, most of it being on WB Spur. Fabulous conditions otherwise! |
