| Water Crossing Notes: |
The only major water crossing on this hike was running a bit high. Ice and snow bridges are somewhat unstable because of recent rain and warm temperatures. I broke through on the return trip and ended up with one wet foot. Fortunately I was only 5 minutes from the end of the hike. I'm assuming the cold temperatures coming in should sturdy the ice and snow. |

| Comments: |
Trail was well packed but 3-4 inches of fresh powder had fallen by the time I finished (4:00 p.m.)
I only needed my snowshoes but other hikers were wearing microspikes and crampons |
