|Date of Hike:
||Saturday, May 21, 2022|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Snow/Ice - Small Patches |
|Water Crossing Notes:
||No issues today. Whitewall Brook above Zealand Hut was an easy jump across. |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
|Lost and Found:
||Intermittent snow and deteriorating monorail near the summits. Dirty crappy snow. Sometimes easily avoidable, but sometimes necessary to walk on it. I think the snow will be almost all gone in a week. Otherwise the trails were really good. Overall mostly dry. Minor mud and water in the trails in some areas, easily avoidable.|
The heat was brutal today. A real butt kicker. Lots of fun talking with a couple of groups.
